These interior designs look great. Very casual and relaxed. The kitchen shows a cleaner and more modern setting. Perfect for entertaining guests and hosting events.

Blair,

Those lacquered walls were gorgeous so I asked Marshall the same question in my interview and his response was "oiled walls". And in the process he applied several layers of shellac that were sanded in between similar to a true venetian plaster application. I'll send you a copy of the podcast so you can listen!

i was so grateful you featured the ever-so-noteworthy work of Marshall Watson for the Hampton Designer Showhouse in New York. It really was a stand out when published in Traditional Home. I have searched the web in vein but cannot find the "how to" for this. note that this article says u would interview Marshall but I have not been able to find that interview in your podcasts. understand the final coat is a shellac - but what comes before.
sincere thanks and best wishes.

as I notice, the trends nowadays are more broad unlike before where everything seems to follow a certain line, even the architecture of a residential condo or even the furniture's are amazing, there is also an immense change when it comes to interior decorating.
