Wouldn’t it be fabulous if we could come home to a beautifully designed living space just by wiggling our nose and crossing our arms like Barbara Eden in the TV series I Dream of Jeannie?
We may not be able to achieve a beautiful living space that quickly now but we can improve our homes living areas by following some simple guidelines. For example by simply rearranging your upholstered furniture around a focal point such as a fireplace instead of lining it up against the wall like a row of soldiers you can create an inviting area. Add a few tables with interesting lamps. accessories and an area rug underneath the grouping and you’ve created a wonderful area to just relax alone or with friends.
If you would like to learn more about Living Spaces and how to make them more beautiful then tune in this Sunday morning at 10am Central as I talk with nationally known designers Thomas Pheasant, Darryl Carter, Richard Ridge and Roderick Denault on Living Large on Newsradio 980 KMBZ. During the show we’re going to discover what the designers feel are most important part of design and the biggest mistakes homeowners make.
